Staff

Administration: The Administration is composed of a Director and a Principal.

Faculty: Comprised of 36 well-trained, certified professional educators. Faculty members are selected from among the best candidates in the highly competitive overseas teaching market. While a majority are American in nationality, we do have 10 different nationalities represented on our faculty. In most cases, our teachers have several years of experience teaching overseas and are well-aware of the special challenges involved in teaching in an international school such as Lincoln.

Faculty: Teaching Assistants: Each elementary classroom is staffed with a Nepali teaching assistant who is trained and qualified to work in tandem with the classroom teacher. In addition, there are teaching assistants for art, music, computer, PE, Nepal studies and general support to the secondary program.

Faculty: Guidance and Counseling: The role of the School Counselor is to assist students in the areas of academic planning, career planning, and personal/social growth issues. The School Counselor also assist parents, teachers, and administrators in three main helping processes - counseling, consulting and coordinating. The counselor plays a major role in admissions, parent/teacher conferences and both individual and group counseling sessions.

Faculty: Resource Specialist: A fully trained and experienced specialist is available to test and work with students who have learning needs. Some students may be scheduled to work with the Resource Specialist on a regular basis.

Faculty: Health Office: Our Nurse is in the Health Office every day from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and is available to offer first aid and assist in obtaining professional medical help. The nurse must have permission from parents before allowing a student to leave school grounds for health reasons.
