Welcome to Lincoln school elementary technology integration website!
Technology is a significant part of Lincoln Elementary School Nepal. The goals of the technology integration program are to provide students with 21st century learning experiences and to develop their technological skills for being effective in learning. Through the use of educational technology the elementary students enhance their skills in research, communication, and overall efficiency.
Devices in school
From grade P1 to grade 3, students are provided with an iPad for use in classroom. Similarly students from grade 3 to 5 have access to a set of 20 Macbook laptops.
Digital citizenship is an integral part of elementary student learning because students go online to conduct research, and for collaboration and communication. The students practice staying safe online by partaking in online digital citizen activities and games using the Common sense, Digital Password, and other useful resources.
In elementary technology, we follow the SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification and Redefinition) model. According to Dr. Ruben Puentedura, “SMAR model is designed to help educators infuse technology into teaching and learning”. The SAMR model helps students to get the desired outcomes for learning.
