Exploring the Unknown in Algebra I

Our intrepid high school Algebra I students are exploring the “unknown”—using variables and solving equations in a variety of contexts. Along the way, they are building problem-solving skills and a strong mathematical foundation for future study, including AP Calculus, Economics, and Statistics.

Throughout the year, students will investigate linear, exponential, and quadratic functions, discovering how algebra helps us identify patterns, describe relationships, and make sense of the world around us.
