Principal’s Welcome
Lincoln Elementary is truly a diverse community of learners who represent over twenty-five nationalities. Our small school is a tight-knit community and strives to create an inclusive setting for all our students and their families.
Our faculty is committed to developing your child holistically while fostering a nurturing learning environment. As a learning community, we are committed to providing your child with a challenging curricular program and encouraging their social-emotional development. The core subjects of literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies are taught by homeroom teachers. Specialist teachers teach music, PE/health, design and art, library, social-emotional counseling lessons, and — starting in grade three — a foreign language. Lincoln Elementary students also participate in our school-wide serving–learning program where they investigate problems, reflect on solutions, and take action. Students may also choose from a variety of after-school activities to participate in throughout the week. With eight different activity strands from music to movement to challenging the brain, every child is sure to find an activity that excites them.
The expression “It takes a village to raise a child” resonates deeply here at Lincoln. We encourage you to be an active participant in your child’s learning experience while they are with us. We want to work in partnership with you and ask that you stay in communication with us, attend school activities, and become an active member of the Lincoln School community.
Go Snow Leopards!
