Reading

Reading at home is VERY important for students of all ages. In first grade, students should spend about 15-20 minutes reading at home each night. This can be done with RAZ-Kids online, his/her Take Home Books, books from the Lincoln School library, or books you have on your bookshelves at home. Students can read independently or with someone, reading the words or the pictures in a book. Reading to your child in any language can be included in this time!
