Mindfulness Walk at Garden of Dreams

Friday, Yoga for Teens class visited The Garden of Dreams for a “mindfulness walk.” Each student had a chance to be in the lead, stepping  mindfully and silently, then would step aside and drop to the back of the line as the next student took the lead. When asked about the experience, students commented on their heightened senses– noticing the shift from cool shadow of trees to warmth in the sun, and the sound of various water features throughout the gardens.
