Math Explorations 11/6/17

Students took turns exploring at 2 centers during math today.

At the first center, students constructed buildings using base 10 blocks. Then they counted and recorded the number of flats (100s), longs (10s), and cubes (1s) used.  Students could record with numerals or tally marks.

At the second center, students followed directions to create shapes with certain attributes on a geoboard, such as “Make a shape with exactly 3 sides.”
