  • Poetry month has begun at Lincoln school.

    • If you happen to be on campus, be sure to stop by the Library Foyer and check out all the great poems going on the “poet-trees.”  Several of them are from our grade 2 students, and there will be more additions as the month continues.

  • Next Tuesday we will have a visiting author, Ammi-Joan Paquette.

    • Grade 2 will have a chance to visit with the author during our Monday Tuesday morning assembly.

  • Please continue to bring in your recycling on Thursday mornings.

    • Grade 2 students may continue their recycling efforts at home to be brought to school on Thursdays.  Please collect and bring in your paper and plastic recyclables.

  • We have begun our study of plants and animals in science.

    • Tuesday this week we planted some seeds, and on Friday we saw the first sprouts.  Students came into class and were welcomed to the surprise that their plants were already growing.

  • Mark your calendars for the spring music showcase coming the first weekend in May.

    • Look for information about the showcase from Ms. Iris in the coming days and weeks.
