Pocket Forests, Growing Community

Led by our PS/PK Connect Club, students and faculty partnered with the Jane Goodall Institute Nepal to plant a pocket forest of native trees along the Bishnumati River. Following the Miyawaki method, saplings are planted close together to create dense, self-sustaining mini-forests.

Planting in grade-level buddy groups made this a true celebration of environmental stewardship and community. We are excited to watch our saplings grow into a thriving pocket forest.
