Mythology. Democracy. Philosophy. Psychology… TOGAS.
Last Friday at Lincoln School, Greece was the word!
In front of a full house of enthusiastic students (Grades 3–12!), proud parents, and supportive teachers, our high school theatre students took to the stage with an unforgettable performance of Greece — an original, workshopped production that reimagined the spirit of Grease through the lens of ancient Greece.
With wit and wisdom, the cast performed original lyrics set to the classic Grease soundtrack, transforming timeless themes from mythology, democracy, philosophy, and early psychology into catchy, clever musical numbers. From famous quotes by Plato and Socrates to dramatic interpretations of the stories from Greek Mythology, and yes, plenty of entertaining toga moments, the show was both educational and entertaining.
A huge congratulations to the cast and crew for their creativity, courage, and collaboration. This performance was not only a celebration of theatre, but also a showcase of deep learning, critical thinking, and student voice in action.
