To support our service learning initiative, elementary students in Project Smile welcomed Dentist Dashrath and his team from Dhulikhel Hospital. Students used models to practice proper teeth brushing and learned about the benefits of fluoride in toothpaste. By interviewing experts, students gained a deeper understanding of needs and challenges related to oral hygiene. These young investigators will use their new knowledge to take action and support oral hygiene initiatives in our local community.
