Faculty Spotlight: Ms. Rikki Beedle

Rikki Beedle first glimpsed Lincoln’s campus nearly 8-years-ago, while visiting her sister, Molly Nielsen. She gained insight into the vibrant, connected community and wanted to be a part of it. Her enthusiasm for Lincoln has only grown stronger since joining the middle school as a Grade 6 teacher last school year. “I love that I know the names of the preschool students, as well as the seniors,” she said. Rikki also appreciates the diverse array of opportunities available in international teaching. “I can work on assessment and also run a sports club.” Rikki’s dedication to children began as a teenager in Nebraska, when she worked at the Boys & Girls Club, a job she continued through university. Though she originally graduated with a degree in advertising and public relations, Rikki quickly shifted to teaching and studied education in Dallas, Texas. Rikki’s passion for learning has persevered, and she feels like she learns something new from her colleagues and students every day. “I love being part of a team, and working together towards a common goal,” she shared. “When we achieve that goal, I am inspired to work towards another one!” We are grateful to have Rikki on our team at Lincoln.
