Senior Spotlight: Maya B

Leading up to Graduation, we will be highlighting members of the Class of 2021. Although Seniors all over the world have had their final year impacted by this pandemic, Lincoln School has a number of plans in place to honor the efforts of our graduating Seniors. Today, Maya B is in the spotlight!

Maya first joined Lincoln as a Junior and says her favorite memories simply involve “The People. Hanging out with friends and even people I didn’t know very well, interacting in classes, and cheering on the school in sporting activities.”

Maya says her spirit animal would be a cat. “I can be super excited and bouncy, or just curl up and do nothing all day.” After graduating, Maya is most looking forward to “Being more independent, and really taking control of my life.”

Some advice Maya would like to pass onto the younger students at Lincoln is: “Really cherish all the happy moments you have, especially those with people you enjoy being with, and the ones where you learn. School doesn’t last forever (which is bittersweet).”

Finally, Maya would like to thank, “All my teachers, the support staff (particularly the bus didis and drivers!), my family, and most importantly, my friends and classmates.”

Thank you for being such a great Snow Leopard, Maya. We are all so proud of you!
