Faculty Spotlight: Mr. Arthur Castro Smith

Arthur Castro Smith, affectionately known as “Coach Art,” has worked at Lincoln for five years. In that time, he has taught across all grades, from Preschool through Grade 12, as well as coached track & field and other sports. “I love seeing students develop their technique,” he said. “That development inspires me to continue working as hard as I can.” Arthur grew up around the world in Africa, England, Southeast Asia and Canada, and moved to Nepal when his family was living here. He has continued his international journey because he enjoys investigating other cultures and environments. “Over the past year, I have learned a considerable amount of patience,” he said. “I’ve also learned that my enthusiasm helps engage and motivate students.” We are fortunate to have Arthur’s passion and energy in educating the students of Lincoln!
