Last week, a group of middle school Art students visited a special exhibition by the world renowned artist, Ang Tsherin Sherpa. Mr. Sherpa was originally trained as a thanka painter, but after moving to the US, began to develop his own style where “sacred and secular culture collide.” After the exhibition, students visited the World Heritage Site of Boudhanath to continue to work on their portfolios.
