Grade 6 Rocks Service Nepal!

The Grade 6 students began their first-ever Service Nepal trip in Nagarjun National Park! They spent Monday and Tuesday learning how to rock climb and participated in activities focused on teamwork and collaboration. On Wednesday, they began their overnight adventure in Chhaimale. Alongside the Hope World Wide organization, the Grade 6 students assisted in distributing and repairing water filters to 11 different homes. The students also visited Shree Krishna Secondary School and collaborated with the students in classes 5, 6, and 7 to teach a handwashing lesson to elementary classes. While sitting around the campfire, the students reflected on their experiences, enjoyed S’mores, and strengthened their bonds as a class. The Grade 6 students and trip leaders will never forget Service Nepal 2024!
