Currents of Connection

Grade 11 had an unforgettable Service Nepal experience on the Sunkoshi River, filled with adventure, learning, and connection. Through rafting, shared challenges, and time in nature, they built strong bonds as they explored their essential question: “Who does the river belong to?” In partnership with the Nepal River Conservation Trust, they collected water-quality data to contribute to an ongoing database and examined the complex interdependence of riverside communities and ecosystems. Immersed in the beauty of the wilderness, this experience left a lasting impact on the Class of 2027.
